The Intellewave 1.2 system includes:

a. Laptop computer with Windows XP OS and pre-installed Intellewave software
b. Marx Security Crypto-Box
c. Bluetooth USB Adapter
d. CardioBelt™ with charger
e. Users Guide (this Guide) and CD with Intellewave software
f. Blood pressure measuring device

The patient is subjected to two test modalities, 7-8 minutes each: lying-to-standing test (Orthostatic test) and Valsalva maneuver combined with Deep Breathing. The CardioBelt applied on the patient’s chest collects electrocardiographic signals and transmits them to the computer through Bluetooth adapter. Intellewave detects R Wave signals and processes R Wave data input, performs an analysis of RR variability, and presents the results to the physician through a user-friendly interface. Blood pressure data are taken before and after of the HRV test.

Step 1. On the Laptop PC plug in the power cord. Connect a mouse and a printer. Switch on the PC. After loading on the desktop of the PC you will see the Intellewave icon. In the right lower corner you will see the Bluetooth icon marked red.

Step 2. Connect the Bluetooth USB Adapter  to the computer USB port.

In the right lower corner you will see the Bluetooth icon became white.

Step 3. Connect the Marx CRYPTO-BO key to the computer USB port.

Then double click on the IW icon.
If the Marx key connected properly, the Intellewave program starts.

Step 4. Depress the button on the CardioBelt™. The LED illuminator illuminates yellow. The Bluetooth icon became green. The Device is ready for work.
